An all aluminum welded body with matching aluminum pickguard. These are from Fender’s 1993 run of 109 aluminum Strats made for Harley Davidson Motorcycles 90th Anniversary. A good friend of mine did the engraving on them and was left with a few un-touched bodies that he stored for years. A banjo-maker and engraver, he gave them to me as a gift in 2018. I am making necks for them, and installing custom-designed Lollar pickups to enhance the raw, blues tone and timbre of a vintage National steel guitar.
